This repair kit includes one 4-Pin connector (with wire leads) and 4 Heat Shrink Butt Splices for repairing a Western/Fisher/Blizzard/SnowEx 4-Pin connector on the Vehicle Side Harness.
Note: Before cutting off the 4-Pin connector, use the LINK HERE to label the 2 RED & 2 BLACK wires with the proper Pin# so that the repair harness will be hooked up correctly. If the connector is gone and you are unsure which colors go to which pin#, look within the vehicle side harness because Pin #2 (RED) and Pin #3 (BLACK) wires should be twisted together.
If you discover a short with your existing controller at the vehicle harness 4-Pin connector, cut off your old connector and use the included butt splices (can also be soldered) to connect this replacement connector. If you want to stagger the splices (to avoid a lump where all the splices are in the same spot) you can cut the wires to different lengths.
Be sure to compare the connectors in the photo to your existing connectors before purchasing.
