This repair kit includes one 6-Pin connector (with wire leads) and 6 Heat Shrink Butt Splices for repairing a Western 6-Pin connector on the Vehicle Side Harness. This kit is comparable to Western’s P/N 27070. If you discover a short in your existing controller at the vehicle harness 6-Pin connector, cut off your old connector and use the included butt splices (can also be soldered) to connect this replacement connector. If you want to stagger the splices (to avoid a lump where all the splices are in the same spot) you can cut the wires to different lengths. To make sure the new connectors are hooked up correctly, be sure to make note (or take a photo) of the wire plugging before throwing away the old connector. Note: The wires on this repair kit have different wire colors then the OEM Western harness, but a wire conversion chart is on the packaging. See that HERE.
